Ware County, Georgia was created in 1824 out of Appling County. This reprint volume is taken from two sources of early Georgia history – “Memoirs of Georgia”? and “Historical Collection of Georgia”? by George White. The family data in the biographical sketches came from the families themselves and therefore, can be considered more accurate than other sources.
