Twiggs County, Georgia was created in 1809 out of Wilkinson County. This volume is a reprint of the materials found in two early volumes on the State of Georgia. First, “Memoirs of Georgia”? and secondly “Historical Collection of Georgia”? by George White. Since most of the data was taken from the families themselves, the information contained here is considered more accurate than other sources.
