Tims Ford Reservoir, located primarily in Moore and Franklin with a small part in Coffee Counties in Middle Tennessee was established by the Tennessee Valley Authority to control the waters on the Elk River in 1971. The graves involved were either removed or left to remain at the request of the families and/or trustees of the cemetery at the time. The Re-internment cemeteries are given as well as the ones flooded. There was a third category call ?Those investigated? and these are given as well.
