One volume of a six volume set which details records of the Texas Rangers from 1847 until 1900 in an alphabetical listing. Many of the early records are not extant as they were in private hands or just lost in time. These records are the ones that have survived and are now housed in the Texas State Archives as Muster Rolls and Pay Rolls.
