Clay County, located in middle Tennessee on the Kentucky border was created in 1871 and named for the statesman Henry Clay. This collection of the W. P. A. Records of Clay County were found in a private collection of the original W. P. A. Records. It contains just a few of the many cemeteries in the county and are found primarily around the count seat of Celina.
