Bedford County, located in the middle of middle Tennessee is known as one of the early counties in Tennessee. The Lutheran church is not one of the strongest religious forces in Tennessee, but is one of the more important ones. This volume contains the records of the church at this early era and contains the membership and other records, especially the listing of the various communicants at the time of the Lords Supper. At that time, all members were expected to bring the tithe up to date and attend to the service which is special in almost all Christian groups.
