An alphabetical listing of the Texas Rangers between the years of 1830 up to 1846. The first company of Texas rangers was formed in 1832; but it was not until the administration of President Burnet in 1836 that this arm of the service was regularly organized and put into the field. In this volume the names, rank and company of service are given as well as the dates of enlistment and discharge. Most of the records are taken from the Muster Roll of the Rangers.
