Walton County, Georgia was one of the several counties created out of the Cherokee lands in 1818. This volume is a reprint of two older books on Georgia. The first is “Memoirs of Georgia”?. The second one is “Historical Collection of Georgia”? by George White. The family data is taken from the families themselves and therefore, the information can be considered more accurate than some other sources.
