Concord Baptist Church in the east Brainerd area of Hamilton County, Tennessee is one of the older churches and cemeteries in the area. It is located on former Cherokee lands that were taken over by the whites when the Cherokee were moved west in 1838. Today much of this area is sub-division, golf courses and businesses. In all of the first century, the church was an important part of the community. Included is a listing of the cemetery and is a real history of the persons who lived in this section of the county.
